1. It was a "Rex". It was what he played to impress John Lennon and was then asked to join the band "The Quarrymen".

2.As far as the song "As Tears Go By", 2 female artists of the sixties covered it: Melanie and Katy Rose

3. Abbey Road was the place to be in the mid to late 60's. By that time guys were wearing skin tight jeans while most girls were still wearing skirts. It wasn't long until bell bottom pants came out and then it was both girls and guys wearing them.

Hmmm, don't know number 1 at all. No. 2 is Nancy Sinatra; No. 3 is Carnaby Street (I think); No. 4 is Twiggy.
