You need to do some serious research- just because you think one puppy is cute doesn't mean you need to run out and buy a dog! The realistic price for a dog with any type of decent health and breeding is around $800+. This breed has a LOT of health issues. If you pick one out of the newspapers for cheap, you're looking at all sorts of eye problems, cherry eye, respiratory problems, dental problems, heart problems, joint problems... pretty much every type of problem imaginable. A well bred dog has less risk, but there are still risks. Again- research, which doesn't mean asking other people to tell you! Get on google and find webpages to read for yourself, and talk to breeders. Dogs with short faces have a hard time cooling themselves properly when they pant. This means they can overheat much more rapidly than other dogs. New England doesn't have a big risk for this, just don't leave the dog in a car or outside in the hot sun. I do NOT suggest attempting to clip your dog yourself. At best, you'll have a horribly uneven, choppy looking dog. At worst, you'll seriously injure it in your attempts. Clippers and scissors are extremely sharp, and most dogs are not terribly cooperative about the procedure. In addition to which, grooming is more than just cutting hair- ears have to be cleaned and plucked, nails trimmed, anal glands expressed, etc. With a dog like this, you are far better off leaving it to a professional- that's what they're there for. Bottom line, do breed research first, and make sure that this is really the breed for you. Considering you didn't ask a single question about the temperament or personality of the breed, I have a feeling you have no idea what you are getting into and are just after a cute fuzzy puppy. If you get through all your research and are still interested, start researching reputable breeders in your area and get on a waiting list.

I asked a q in computer section few days ago. My ONLY answers came from P&S. Three of my contacts. I know where my friends are.
Once I answered a Q in Cats. Somebody there emailed me and said she was reporting me. She did and I got a VN. It was a nice answer too.
Maybe I shouldn't confess this but I once got a BA from the Philosophy section.
Now I just stay w my contacts. They are all sweet people.

Only if one of my contacts asks outside of P&S. Then sometimes I may not have an answer. I do the same thing you do. Start from the front and work my way back. If I can keep up.

I usually just look at the general list that comes up when I first sing on to Y!A... then I refresh every once in a while to see new ones. I pick from all kinds of categories.

I have regrettably wandered into R&S and that has got to be the most hostile bunch of yaholes on this site....

Anyway, I answer mostly things my contacts have asked or starred....when i run out of that I go looking for questions that are interesting to me to answer.

I try to answer my contacts questions and then go to P&S cause it's fun. Sometimes I stray over to the cat section or help people who might have computer questions if I know the answers.

I am a regular on R&S and Boardgames. Politics gets me in trouble. I answer everything that I have knowledge in or an opinion on. I check all catagories first then go to one of my favorites.

No, the kind of knowledge I have to offer would be useless anywhere else. I do the same thing you do. Sometimes I don't think I'm ever going to get to the end.

My network of great contacts brings home to me the best of Y/A so I stay on P&S when I'm not working from my profile!

I go to R&S once in a while if I'm feeling too happy and good about myself. Those people can rain on anyones parade and bring you back down to earth.
