The 80's----people are STILL wearing flourescent colors and coloring their hair in funky shades. BTW that time was a throwback to the 60's, did you know?
As for the 70's---yeah, the styles were wild, but there was A LOT of creativity and experimentation with textures & styles, and most of you are probably thinking of disco trends, not rock or hippie type things which were more natural and we still have with us today.

Hand down the worst sense of style was the last two years. Bra Straps showing, wearing hipsters, and thonged panties, so when they bent over you could see their butts. Not to mention, hipsters, and a T-shirt one size too small, and a fat tummy protruding out. And people becoming more obese, and insisting on wearing these short T Shirts.
Tattoos, body piercing,Studs in your tongue.
At least the 80"s were glamorous. Despite the shoulder pads. And at least classical suits for women were in. And If "big hair' was shiny and loose flowing, it was lovely. Not sprayed sot it didn't move. I'm tired of limp straight hair now.
Don't get me going, the young girls of today look dirty, unwashed, untidy and also, why such low cut dressed. They should just wear no tops, and be done with it.

Now that I think about it, the hip huggers of the 70's with platform shoes which I admit, i fell off of were not that stylish, at the TIME I thought I was cool. Also "granny glasses" were sort of dumb too
Now those young men with the pants down around the nether regions with their boxers showing just tempts me to pull the damn things all the way down or to take them and hike them up where they belong. I would try either or both but I am afraid I would be arrested! Those tounge studs or whatever they are called are hideous, I can't understand a word out of their mouths!

Every decade has it's own best and worst- 60's we had tent dresses and even dresses made of paper- 70's we had leisure and disco suits- 80's who can forget mullets (still see a few around!) frizzy hair leg warmers and parachute pants-90's track suits-dressing like babies and the start of the baggy pants which took us right into the 00's saggers and boy wearing the skin tight girls jeans.

I grew up in the 60's 70's and the 70's were the worst, Nehru Jackets, Bell bottoms that drug on the ground, mini-skirts that were in plaids and other ugly prints, paisley in awful colors wide belts so many things to mention I will stop here.

I think each decade had something that was awful, but the worse for me I think started when no one wanted to dress smart when going out for the evening anymore, almost everyone just dont make an effort anymore, apart from people of our generation maybe, they just sling on jeans t shirts and trainers and off they go, looking no different than when nipping to the shop....I think it's sad

I believe every decade has its poor taste on display. I also believe that if you can look past the extreme, you'll find some very well-groomed guys and gals.
I saw a kid in Waffle House last night, and the desire to turn on an electromagnet was very strong. He had more metal in his skin than I've ever seen before.

From the 1990's through to today. Purple and green hair in spikes up to and including wearing pants around the knees seems pretty bad to me. Besides no sense of style, I would add no sense at all to that statement.

The clothes that Bea Arthur wore on "Golden Girls" in my eyes represents beautiful materials wasted on bad clothing styles. This would be the 80's and between the awful shoulder padding and tons of hair a lot of women really looked awful. (Bea's hair looked great, though.)

The 60's were creative. The 70's had to be the worse with women wanting to dress like men for the office. Remember those ugly suits with the tied up blouses?!
