Billick is an offensive idiot. Either that, or someone is holding a career threatening gun to his head and saying "You will start and stick with Boller, or we'll look like we picked the wrong QB in the draft, BTW, your career's over if you let Boller go."
What sense does it make to stick with a guy who already was demoted behind a washed-up, used-to-be-good QB who does less than manage a game. Then thrust him into the starting role again to say "Yeah, we'll stick with him again, he's our QB for the future."
Start Troy Smith and at least see what he can do with a real game, no matter how much they have to simplify the game-plan. They may find something they like, as with Boller they should know they have a career back-up starting.

Yes, he should start the rest of the season for the Ravens because I believe he is a better quarterback than Kyle Boller and the team needs a spark. However, based on Billick's Postgame press conference, Kyle Boller will probably remain as the starter until he gets hurt.

It seems that he was the only effective QB they had! I personally thing that they should get rid of Bollor. He's really not very good! One thing I can't figure out is, if the Pats are such a "great" team and only actually beat the Ravens in the last few seconds of their game, and the Colts, with all their injuries, still "whupped the sh!t outa them", doesn't that bring up a question as to just how good are the Pats, or have the Pats only played so-so teams to get where they are now? Belichick is an ********!

Why not since the Ravens are not going to the playoffs. Therefore, let's see what Smith can do. The Ravens are in desperate need of a good quarterback and the days of McNair are over and Boller has not looked good.

earlier BIllick have been given canned(dumbest mistake ever) i might have reported NO way... yet now its complicated to assert... i might decide to make certain Boller be the starter and Smith the backup; i think of that they might make a brilliant and useful mixture... they stability one yet another ok... Smith did look solid the final 2 video games, yet Boller has additionally come a lengthy way from the fairway rookie that he as quickly as exchange into, I dont think of that they intend to make the comparable mistake that they made with Boller and throw Smith into the commencing place too early... the two way next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days has have been given to be greater suitable bypass RAVENS

Yes. Give the guy some experience. Baltimore is out of playoff contention. Boller will be out of Baltimore after this season and McNair has no more magic left. Let Smith start.

They might as well let him play and see what he can do. McNair is done for the year and Boller is ineffective so give him a shot.
I think the problem is if they let him play and bench Boller then they are saying Boller is not the future QB of the team as i think they would like him to be.

Sure. You never know if he may be the next Doug Flutie. NFL teams thought he was too small, so he went to Canada and became a legend. Finally, NFL teams gave him a chance, and he proved he could play. Who knows what he could have done when given a chance at a younger age.

but to answer: no....he should get playing time, but he isn't the long term answer and I don't think the Ravens are trying to make it out to be that way
