I do all the time, I even had goofy names for them
My dog is "Arfus McDog"
My cat is "Kitty VanBuren"
Hmmm... seeing that typed out, maybe I do need the local psych ward....

Yes, I talk to my cat all of the time. But it's not just talking like you would to a baby, like most people do. I find myself talking to her in all kinds of weird accents, including mock French..

Yeah and he talks to me. He has a very original way of telling me to open the door. And he pulls his ears when I talk to him. Such a sweety!
