Now there is an episode we'd never see or hear about, to protect the innocence of the viewers. Trebek would go into 7th century Rhesus monkey tribal maiming mode. It'd be an ugly, unforgettable seen. Trust me.

haha No special skills for Alex Trebek. I bet that if that really did ever happen, one of the camera men who changed his name to Alex because he wanted to be just like Mr. Trebek saw the opportunity right away and jumped in to say, "We'll be right back, after a few messages from our sponsors" thinking he was all that while the other cameramen dropped their equipment to save the life of their friend.

I think Sean Connery could do it. Alex Trebek would then meet his fighting match.

Security would jump in. As for Trebek, I know nothing about him other than that he made the news for pushing around an airport security female. There was a previous incident, too, but, as I don't like him, I can't recall.

I think everyone in the audience and all over the world would laugh like crazy. I get the feeling the other contestants would jump in.
I think Alex's special skill is being an arrogant know-it-all. He needs to ask himself frequently: "What would Gene Rayburn do?" if he even wants to be considered a decent game show host.

No one would ever "attack" Alex Trebek. First of all, he's simply charming. Secondly, smart people aren't violent.
And lastly, Alex probably holds a black belt in Karate.

I believe he would duck behind his podium and wait for the big security guy but I'd also like to believe he would give a roundhouse kick to head of the rushing old lady

The Alex ... doesn't need mad skills .... he's well protected.
There are snipers in the audience, the letter board & floor is electrified only he & Vanna wear insulated shoes.
