To Be Nice; I'd like to see a source for your claim that a million crimes are prevented per year by guns.

How hard is it to figure that out?
watch - bowling for columbine
moore showed the figures , US is no.1 in the 10 thousands per year.
Germany - only about 200 something cases of gun killing a year.
Canada - also around that figure.
------------------------------------------------------
there's also an atmosphere of "fear" in the US created by the media. plus the coin slot condom machine like accessability of guns. that's the deadly combo.

Did you recognize that each and every a style of places are gun unfastened zones? Did you study that on the fringe of all the killers have been taking some style of psycho-trophic drug? 50 years in the past all people might purchase gun interior the mail and lots of did. Gangs might now no longer use weapons, that exchange right into a cardinal sin. that is now no longer the weapons, its the people. How did they get so violent?

Did you notice that all of those places are gun free zones? Did you read that nearly all of the killers were taking some sort of psycho-trophic drug?
50 years ago anyone could buy gun in the mail and many did. Gangs would not use guns, that was a cardinal sin.
It's not the guns, its the people. How did they get so violent?

Maybe. But, OTOH, guns also prevent over a million crimes a year. So should we surrender those people to be victims or just accept the few bad times that happen. Common sense says keep the guns.

Guns is not a problem, Attitude and upbringing of Youths are the problems. We live here in a community of Guns and Ammo, but people do respect each other here.
In a nearby town, there's an illegal gun manufacturing, and people can buy easily there- but there's no events like these rampages.

We lead the "civilized" world. We lead the "developed" world. We lead the "Western" world.
But we're nothing compared to places like Colombia, Afghanistan, and Iraq...

What is next is people that are law abiding getting tired of being gunned downed and protecting themselves. Demanding of thier politicians to 'stop' trying to neuter the 2nd Amendment.
Law breakers will allways have access to illegal firearms.
