also about how many ultrasounds do you get?

I got my first ultrasound at 20 weeks. Generally insurance companies will only pay for one ultrasound unless you get additional ones that your doctor has ordered. I had 3 ultrasounds done, the other two I had were ordered by my Dr. one to see if my baby was heads down, the other to check fluid levels as I was overdue. Good luck...I hope this helped!

I got ultrasounds very early on when I went for my first pregnancy check up. I wan't sure how far along I was and they were able to find out by doing it. Not all women get that first one. After that, a woman gets an ultrasound half way through the prenancy around 20 weeks.

I got my first ultrasound at 12 weeks, and my daughter was sucking her thumb. It was so amazing to see the shape of a baby sucking on there hand. I have the picture. I had like 7 ultrasounds, because my husbands aunt is a tech. Only 3 prescribed by the dr. though. I also had preterm labor at 31 weeks.

Out of my five children, the earliest i've had an ultrasound was 5 weeks 5 days. Just about a week after I found out I was pregnant.

I was about 12weeks when I had my first ultrasound.
Second was conducted at 19weeks. (this was when they determined the sex of the baby)
Planning on getting a 4D ultrasound done soon. Hopefully by next month. Need to look around for good deals since I will be paying for this out of pocket.
Currently 27weeks.

i was 20 weeks and 5 days. at that ultrasound i found out i am carrying twin boys!! had no clue until then. with twins i will get one done every four weeks at the least. but with my daughter i got an ultrasound at 20 weeks and that was it.

I had my first U/S done when I was 8 weeks along and just found out I was pregnant. Then I had my second at the beginning of the 18th week for measurement purposes and also to find out the sex. I'll have my third and final U/S next Wednesday to check measurements and position. I'll be 34 weeks then.

I was 10 weeks when I got my first.
Got another at 11 weeks, but because I was bleeding. Had another one at 19 weeks to find out the gender and get measurments on the baby. And I will have one at 23 weeks because they couldn't find the 4 chambers and get a good profile shot of his face.

I have had four pregnancies and never had any ultrasounds. I did not have the doptone or electronic monitor either. You don' t have to have ultrasound if you do not want it.

My first I was 26 weeks and only had one done.
My second I was 12 weeks and than again when I was 24 weeks
for my third I was 20 weeks and had several. I had a high risk pregnancy with my youngest.
