is this shingles?

i got soreness on my right side at top of hip joint tender to touch an if clothes rub on it. had it since ysterday. no redness or rash could it be shingles so i see gp tommorow

NO it's not. Shingles usually present its self with a rash.

no, shingles are diagnosed because there IS a rash.
