Further to previous answers - To bite your tongue is a saying for when you REALLY wanna say something to someone - Like someone says something really stupid - and you think of some thing really cutting to say back to them - And rather than actually say it - you 'bite your tongue' rather than say what you were going to - either to spare their feelings or because you dont wanna get into it with them....

I have a question. When I'm sleep I grind my teeth a lot. When I woke up from a nape I notice my tongue was numb. Far back at the top right. I showed my husband cause I was concerned that it was something else come to find out I bit it. Does anyone have the same problem?
