my body temp spikes around day 16 of my circle but blood test shows i don,t ovulate. what can cause this?

i ttc and this is my third round on clomid and 1st on metformin as i've just been dignosed with pcos. my LH is 17 and my progestrone is very low. my doc suggest i should go for ivf if clomid and met doesn't work. is there any other thing i can try before resulting to ivf. pls help

This could be related to the PCOS, but I would recommend a consultation with a regular endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders that relate to hormone problems such as PCOS) if you haven't already to see if there might be something going on with your thyroid as well. Women with PCOS are also prone to having problems with their thyroid which can also affect the menstrual cycle.
