Without attacking me, please name one good thing about present day America. I plan on leaving this country soon, as it's going down the toilet. Please tell me your favorite thing about it. Thanks.

The Constitution.Could you possibly imagine the insane restrictions we would face without it?I'm not going to gripe about your' decision to leave, but you definitely want to make sure you're headed someplace that dosent change a citizens' "inalienable" rights everytime someone new is elected. You'd be surprised how many places are like that.Good luck.

I was born and raised here in America... have never been away from the southeastern part.... I am a true blooded southerner... for the most part I am happy.... but when it comes right down to it...its easier for me to tell you what i don't like about America.

Some people will of course say something about freedom. let me ask you this... are we truelly free? We have laws to abide by and punishments if we break those laws. We can't do anything without a permit or license including adding a room onto our home or going down to the creek to catch a fish for supper. The governement takes our money and if we try to keep any of it are thrown in jail or some or punishment. We are only free to do as we're told. There is no true freedom.

The land is not pretty anymore because developers are dozing mountains and chopping trees, as is with every other country. Our food is just the same as in other countries.

America is not great right now... but the fact that I want to be free would never change because no matter where you go there will be laws, laws, laws, thrown on top of taxes.

I complain about America alot the way it is being run and have my say at the poles when it is time to vote. I rant and carry on, but as much as I dislike aspects about this country... I was born here and here is where I will die, my ashes dumped over the land. I guess more than anything its not what I like or love about this country but a sence of pride in my heritage and where I come from.

Freedom of religion. I can go to any church I want, when I want.

Freedom of speech. I can basically say what I want when I want how I want.

You can go to school for free.

You can if you choose work hard and get a good job and live well.

Then there are the things like how beautiful some of this country is. The Grand Canyon, the mountians, the oceans, the back roads.

There are a lot of wonderful places to visit and see in the country. A LOT. You just have to find them.

Check out magazines like Country, Reminese, Country Woman by Reiman publications. They show you great people and great places.

I have lived out of the USA, there are great places elsewhere but nothing like America.

Yeah, we need a change, but not the kind of change the liberals envision. The people need to change to rekindle their devotion to Truth, which means to reject the bias and ignorance of the media. The fact is that most reporters don't have a clue what they're looking at most of the time when the subjects are Law, Government, or anything Military, they just report what they think based on their own prejudices. People need to check the facts more. We need to return to the Constitution, and stop wasting time and money on the UN. If the US should take action someplace, all the UN does is delay the inevitable, making the ultimate action more difficult and expensive. I'm not aware of a single problem they've ever even ameliorated, let alone solved.
