You fail to give the name of the antivirus program, or say if you downloaded on a evaluation for "X" amounts of days, or purchased. If it is an evaluation, I suggest that you go to Add/Remove and remove the program. Or open the antiviurs program and find the settings to allow what incoming packets you want and block what you don't want.

Very hard to help you when the info., is so vague.

You just need to check the settings on your anti-virus program. It sounds like it is blocking you from downloading, for your safety but sometimes they are over protective. Look at the settings and you need to allow these things.

I've had this happen before, getting a new anti-virus didn't work for me. It turned out I needed a registry cleaner. I found a free one online, and ran it and everything went back to normal.

Hope that helps!
