this company strung me along for 8 weeks they said i had the job but they never winded up giving it to me?? they even set me up for 2nd and third interviews, why would they do this, and not give me the job? my question is, can i contact someone free of charge, that can conduct an investigation as to why this company did this?? or at least try to get some answers???

Sounds like you were a finalist but did not get the job. Unless you can show that you did not get it because of racial, religious, or some other type of discrimination, then you are pretty much out of luck. It is rough. You just have to start over with another company. Also, do not make waves and enemies at this place. You made it thru a few interviews. If they have an opening they may remember you and call you back. If you burn your bridges there then that will not happen.

That is a tough thing to do. Since nothing was done in writing and you werent given a definitive start date, there is nothing to imply that you really had a job. Do you have any witnesses? Did anyone tell you that they found someone more qualified, or that you were asking too much money or whatever? Lawyers will usually charge a fee for something like this, but I dont know if there is any law that has been broken here. I am sorry about your loss.
