everybody makes mistakes, I believe his apologies are sincere. He deserves a 2nd chance at life and maybe one day the NFL.. 2 years is more than enough.. there's no need to beat the dead horse

I guess I better be ready for this question to come up a couple of thousand times in the next couple of days. Is anyone really surprised that he was sentenced? I'm not. I also think 23 months is a good sentence. This is the time that most people would serve on a charge like this.

To Jameel T.
Hunting season is only allowed in places where there is no threat to the wildlife being hunted. It helps regulate all wildlife by keeping certain species from becoming too large in numbers and throwing the balance off. Maybe you should look up hunting laws before you start ranting about something that makes you look stupid.

I think it's too much. The whole thing was taken overboard. I don't condone what he did, however, if he wasn't MICHAEL VICK the football star, it wouldn't have gone this far. I bet the majority of those PETA protesters eat chicken, fish, and red meat on a daily basis. I don't see them protesting for those animals that are slaughtered daily. Also, How many of them are pro-abortion? There are just too many double standards in the Country.

I think it's way too little. Any person who finds it entertaining to torture animals and profit from it, especially when it's someone who does NOT need the money and it's purely entertainment for them is a real sicko. With all of the dog bodies they found mutilated and buried on his property he should be put away for a looong time. What kind of person is that to have in society.

I personally think that it's fair. He's probably going to have to do the whole time too. Not like Paris Hilton and get out in a matter of days or Lindsay Lohan and get out in a matter of hours. In this case, his money didn't talk cause he's still going to jail

this really depends on who you ask directly..

ask a dog lover..."no, he shoulda got life"

ask stephon marbury.."dogfighting is a sport"

it seems to be a southern thing..just depends on your background i guess..i agree with that other guy, im sure 23 months was more than most people expected..but not nearly enough for some

i personally dont care and didnt think it should have gotten as much attention and media coverage as it did..thats all i have to say about that..good luck to all fantasy players this week..

Probably is too little....

But that was more than likely a result of the admission of guilt....

If he had fought this and went to trial...They would have gotten the whole 5 years.....

I would have thought somewhere between 4-5 years. Now it's 23 months with the ability to be reduced to 20 months with good behavior. That's America's legal system for you.

MONEY TALKS!

Excellent, it's more than I thought he would get. After watching so many celebrities skate on criminal convictions, it's good to see one get a real jail sentence.

Too little. I say put him in the ring with the dogs and the winner goes free.
