I such a big Wings fan that:

-I pray to a statue of Gordie Howe daily
-I consider March 26 a holiday (see Brawl in Hockeytown)
-I have all the posters that the News and Free Press came out with taped onto the walls of my room
-The colors of my sheets, dresser, and bookshelf are red and white
-I like to throw darts at pictures of Claude Lemieux, Marc Crawford, and the Ducks and Blackhawks logos
-I have arranged all of my photos so that, in a way, it looks like Steve Yzerman

Well, I've been a Wings fan since I was a little tike. I don't remember much from my childhood but I remember what I was doing each and every time they touched the cup. I've sticked with them through there (few, but some) losing streaks. And I've been through when they were winning. I'm a fan through and through.

Once a Wings fan, always a Wings fan.

Well, I have learned that most call-ins are from people that aren't exactly endowed with class or common sense. Every team has its poorest examples and no matter which NHL city you worked in, you would probably come away with the same opinion of those fans as you do in Detroit. That is one of two reasons why I don't listen to such shows here in Philly. The other reason is that the host's are nothing more than bloviating, idiotic rating hounds.

I am a Minnesota Wild fan, but even I admire the system and skill that the Red Wings exhibit, hopefully they keep up the good work!

Well....since 1984 I have been a fan. It was not when they were not winning....I rode the wave up with them. I watched Probert....I watched the them build with the Russian five.....now I am watching them make a run with the Swedes.......its great!! My grandchild's first words were usually 'SCOOOOOREEEEE' as I held their arms up.....lol.
I get to the Joe when I can and have a trunk full of videos that I taped when I could not watch.
I was a redwing fan when being a redwing fan was not a cool thing to do.
Everyone at work knew when it was game day.......I had on my shirt.
During the playoffs I wore a redwing shirt everyday.....kept the washer busy. lol.

How can Trombass NOT get the 10 points?

Praying to a Gordie Howe statue and arranging photos in the likeness of Steve Yzerman wins it for me!

I am a big fan of the wings. even my 2 yr old daughter is a fan of them. she was born in sept and when the season started in oct, i used to get up in the nite or put her to sleep by watching the wings games. one of the first few words i taught her and she said is "go redwings". she knows the winged wheel, whenever she sees that, she goes "go redwings", jumps up and down and all happy about it. somedays she wants to wear her redwings clothes and makes me wear the wings jersey too. i have a 2 month old who is going to be a wings fan too. cant be a bigger family fan of wings than us here in indiana. got my office decored in wings stuff, posters, photos, bobblehead dolls, flags, u name it.
stevie Y is god!!!!
