As long as the power unit is onme that can run on 220/230 volts, yes, but you will need a different power cable to go to wall.
Needs UK style 3 pin plug

Yes the laptop will work. However in the UK we have the £ (pound sterling)symbol on our keyboards which will probably not be on your keyboard. And as other posters have said, we have 240 volts 50Hz AC power in the UK which is different to Canada so you'll either need a British power unit or a transformer to go from 240-130 volts to match your laptop's power unit.

I think Canada has a different wattage to us and as I believe their first languagee is french ,the keyboard will have added keys. So when using spell Check I had to always change the languag settings. A wright pain
