We are planning on having a number of names prepared, because you never know until you meet the baby, I just was wondering what people think... We aren't trying to find something unusual, per say, just something not everyone else's child will be named. I have a horribly common name, and it is rather annoying!

I really like Isis, but I would not combine it with either Raine or Dylan. Raine is the better of the two, but I am not a fan. Dylan sounds nice, but then name seems like too much of a tribute to Bob.
Would go with Isis Marissa or Isis Alison.. something with I and S in it would be pretty. And I think that a longer middle name might sound best as well.

Isis is nice. Does it come from the Dylan song and that is where you get the middle name from? If so that's a bit too obvious. I don't really like Raine either, but Isis on it's own is nice

I am sorry but it sounds like you are spending a great deal of time trying to come up with the most unusual name you can...for the effect when you say it. What do you think your baby will think of carrying a name like that? There is a trend now where people are not naming babies till' after they arrive. That way they can get to know the child a little and then choose a name that fits. Who knows? Maybe it will be Isis, after all! God Bless and Merry Christmass!
