oh yeah -- check this out.:
First Christmas after having my first Baby, the Baby is 8 months old -- I am slimming down -- gettin back into normal jeans -- feeling pretty good, Christmas time was going well, on all levels.
My husband gives me a gift in a small box - like a 4" x 4" box, like a necklace or bracelet jewelry looking box. I am think -- right on -- cuz, in the past he had not the best gift giving abilities.Well, I open the box -- and its a bleeeeeping bicycle tire tube! he says -- oh and that comes with installation too! ( like he should be a ll proud and giddy to give a rediculous gift like that!) I said " wow! really?" Inside i am thinking "you are such a terrible gift giver - you don't even have the sense to be totally embarrassed right now!")
this was supposed to be some great gift for my bike (hint - get my fat *** on it to lose the baby weight) that had low air in the tire - regularly. The icing on the cake of this crappy story -- the bleeping bike had tubeless tires!
What a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeke

Nose hair trimmer?! Haha!
If my ex would've given me that as a gift, I would have been laughing my as* off.
But no, he was pretty attentive about the kind of things I like, books, vintage films, music, artwork, etc.
The most practical gift I remember receiving from him was a toy of sorts, for intimate purposes.

I like the practical gifts. I got a vacuum once but it was a Dyson so totally okay. I asked for new scarves and gloves for Christmas from my cousin.

I remember our 2nd Christmas together as being the practical one! I received and electric blanket, and electric knife and an electric skillet. None of which I had asked for. I cried. And never again received a household gift from him at Christmas!

sure yet no longer as many as i might like and no i did no longer re-present it i admire them, I merely pour a dash stable brandy on it and save it interior the refrigerator taking a chew on occasion. Re-grifting is a few thing I by no ability had to do as most of the persons I obtain presents from supply me presents i admire. perhaps i don't get as many as others do or i'm grateful i'm getting them. In any journey i wish in case you probably did get a Fruitcake and do choose to re-present it the guy you gave it too would not study your question. lol

Too many times, I got him back by buying him a crock pot one year! Just what he always wanted, right?
