Today's pills are lower doses than they used to be, so it's important to take them about the same time. If you're only varying times within a few hours and not, say morning til night difference, then you're probably ok. If the chance of another pregnancy really freaks you out that much, then have your husband wear a condom for a few months until you get used to taking the pill - it really does take time to make it a habit of taking everyday. As someone else suggested, make it the last thing you do before you go to bed, or the first thing you do when you get up - whichever time is approximately the same everyday. You'll have less chance of forgetting then.

You know birth control pills are not 100% effective right? If you absolutely do not want to have another baby use another form of birth control too. The most effective way to take the pill is to take it at the same time every day. If you stop taking the pill to have a baby you should not try to get pregnant immediately either. Ask your healthcare professional if you need further details. I have a skinny friend who used to get the every three month birth control shot. It never affected her weight.

Taking your pills at different times will not make you pregnant. Unprotected sex makes you pregnant (and gives you diseases, like AIDS and venereal warts, which never go away).
Taking the pill at different times a day does lower its efficacy, but not by much. Increased risk, sure, but how much increased? No one knows. What we DO know is that condoms and the pill, when used together as directed, are almost as effective as abstinence. And if your man won't put one on, there's always the female condom. Same effect, but easier to deal with, and actually yes does feel better for him.
If you absolutely cannot get pregnant, ask your OB/GYN about other long-term options, like IUDs or the shot--and make your man wear a rubber.

I think as long as you take them everyday you should be okay. For myself there were days when I forgot to take them and it would put me a day behind but then I would just take one that morning and one that night and then I would be back on track. You really should try to take them at the same time everyday just to be safe. You don't need to have timer and you HAVE to take the pill at exactly that time of day everyday, just in the general time frame. I was on the pill for 5 years and never had a problem.

to be honest it is best to take it at the same time but don't worry to much. try to take it at least around the same time, for example in the mornings or in the evenings and you will be just fine. a lot of pills have warnings or a information paper in closed in them. some pills say it it even okay if you accidentally miss a day. Just find the info. paper that is in closed and read it, if not ask your pharmacist or a nurse.

Taking your pills everyday at the same time is where the 99% efficiency is. When you don't take them at the same time everday you % lowers. I was on the pill and took mine everyday never at the same time and I got pregnant. For added protection I would suggest using a condom.

It's best to take them at the same time each day, but if it is only varying by a couple of hours I'm sure it's fine. However since you say you can not afford another child right now, it seems that you can not afford to take that chance then. Maybe take them before you to bed everynight, so that it's at the same time.

It's best to try and take them around the same time every day, mainly so your mind gets used to it. Like if you just take them right after you get up in the morning you are more likely to remember every morning. I don't think it really makes much difference if you don't take them at the same time as far as protection. If you seriously aren't ready for another baby right now you also need to consider safe sex like condoms or abstinence.

depends which pill you're on
weight gain from depo injection is generally no worse than from the pill and certainly less than being pregnant
You could always have an IUD fitted instead. Talk to your family planning clinic.

while you're on the minipill (progesterone in uncomplicated terms pills), those are extra sensistive approximately taking them on a similar time every day. although, as long as you're interior some hours, that keeps to be close adequate. there's a better time window for the "universal" (estrogen) delivery administration pill. you may continuously use a backup technique, like a condom, to be extra suitable careful.
