There's no point that India and Pakistan have to spend huge amount of resources for military/defence purpose. Both the countries are having similar problems to be addressed for the mutual benefit of both.I don't understand why the sanity is lacking in this regard and why one country thinks the other as the enemy .This sheer stupidity.
I am sure , more than 80% of the citizens of both the countries will appreciate if both the countries march ahead as friendly neighbours towards economic and social progress.
Hope that day is not so far away when the political leaders of both the countries will realise the basic logic behind this.

If you really believe that then all I can say is that you are one hell of an optimist. But then I know your question is more rhetoric. You are talking about defence expenditure which at any rate cannot be reduced so long as our neighbours continue their incursions as well as
their major export of terrorists.Don't you think it is rather strange that the USA is looking upon
Pakistan as a partner in its war against terror
and terrorism and giving aid almost to the tune of US$ 1 billion per month? With this money
Pakistan can arm itself to its teeth and if we don't keep pace we will get kicked in our teeth.
The basic amenities that you speak of for our villages can comfortably be met not by slashing the military expenditure but totally ensuring that there are no kickbacks in any of the defence
orders and deals. Also the huge orders for
our civil aviation can better the amenities for the villages if the transactionsare fully transparent. There are many areas of government spending where if transparency can
be ensured fully and with single mindedness then we may even be able to do away with deficit financing altogether in our budget which will then show a color other than red. That would
be a hallmark of super powerdom.
Incidentally, could you please enlighten me as to why you posted this query under the Education and Reference-Homework Help
category?Thanks.And have a nice day.

That, sir, is an remarkable factor. each and every poll that has ever been carried out, related to this united states of america’s religious association, overwhelming demonstrates that maximum folk do p.c. out themselves with some form of Christian faith, and yet Christians are those that harp on the main approximately our ethical degradation. So it would look to make experience that Christians ought to lay the blame squarely on their own shoulders. regrettably maximum Christians do not abide by way of their Jesus’ admonishment to: “ not look at the speck on your brothers eye, without first removing the beam on your own”. of course many Christians will say that the polls in basic terms convey people who “PROFESS” faith, yet not real believers. nevertheless, this does not absolve Christians of their accountability for the moral decline they declare is taking place with ever increasing rapidity. in spite of everything, Christianity has had the skill of the government at the back of it, and has been the biggest impression on the international subculture, for the previous 2000 years. So if Christianity can not even convert sufficient “real believers” to alter the worldwide for the greater suitable it demonstrates that Christianity is ineffectual and a failure. in addition to, it underscores the certainty that if there's a God, and Christianity is the religion he approves us, then he's likewise impotent, with the aid of fact he can not motivate sufficient people to even have faith and alter into catalysts for exchange. Many good wing Christians take exhilaration in the certainty that Communism failed, and cite it (erroneously i might upload) as information of what happens once you exclude God from national subculture and government. So why don’t they persist with that comparable good judgment and likewise condemn their own faith as a failure, with the aid of fact it, being given 1900 greater years to artwork than “Godless” Communism, has not vanquished poverty, eradicated affliction, or made people any further ethical. Christians refuse to ascertain themselves interior the mirror. Christians refuse to take the proverbial beam out of their own eye. they might lots extremely placed on the blindfold of self-righteousness.

Agreed it is necessary to provide basic amenities to the villages but not at the cost of security. Security also very important, we cannot compromise.
