I am trying to find new (to me) music that is similar in genre to Journey. Can be from today, or 70's, or whatever. Thanks!

Styx for sure. I would also recommend Bad Company, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Kansas, & Boston
You should really enjoy all of them, anything You want to know about Journey feel free to ask or EMail Me about. I'm an expert on them, especially the early part of their career. And I saw them in concert on their "Frontiers" tour...they rocked!

Check out Queensryche. Their music is a bit harder then Journey but the lead singer, Geoff Tate has a powerful, full voice like Steve Perry does.
