I have looked at a few agencies on the net but all of them look very similar but i know that there are a lot of dodgy ones out there that charge you a fee and don't give you any work. Which ones are to be avoided? Which ones are the best and give you lots of work?
Thanks for answering.

Getting lots of work or not may not entirely be the agency's fault. You have to be something that the casting directors want. And that is someone with enperience and ability. Agencies are not how actors get started, actors wind up with an agent after they have become the person I mentione above. Some acting experience in amateur plays and independent films and some professional classes will guide you toward what you want to know.
