Is this going to far, the guys career is over

I'd feel bad for Vick if his career was ended due to injury on the football field, or because of some sort of uncontrollable family tragedy, etc., but, he organized and bankrolled a dogfighting ring? He gets what he deserves. Vick's career was ended by Vick being stupid - nothing more.

You seriously thought they would let him go? Have you been hiding in a cave since this **** started? He pled guilty(to a hanging judge) and went to jail early and you thought they would cut him a break? Wow.

I like what TL said. Too bad about his career. Lots of guys who do bad things lose their careers over it. Obviously their lives don't mean as much to them as their audacious crimes.
Feed the loser to the dogs.

let him go-why? Because he's famous? Because he's rich? Guess what--what he did was wrong. He's a criminal. He's no better than Joe Blow down the street that commits a crime. You play, you pay. It's about time someone famous got more than their hand slapped.

I wanted them to shove a raw steak down his pants and put him in a cage with his fighting dogs.

He gets what he gets. If he didn't want to go to jail for dog fighting, there was an easy answer. Don't organize an illegal dog fighting ring!

I think he got to much time. Considering he is out $140 million, and the judge that gave him that much time is a known hunter

i think this is too much. Unintentionally he has done more to put an end to dog fighting than anyone else in history. I hope he makes it back.
