My daughter was quite constipated at birth so we had to change her formula and once we did she had a great almighty poo that went all the way up her back and front, all in her belly button!!! I was so shocked when I opened her nappy, I had no idea what to do!!! She was only about 3 weeks old and I didn't know where to start! LOL - I think I stood there for about a minute before I started to clean her... and she was just looking at me and smiling... they are wonderful aren't they! I love the way all they have to do is smile - then all our worried and stress disappear!

Well she wears a nappy so the nappy is probably tight around her so when the mess goes into her nappy and thats full theres no where else for it to go so it probably subsides up her back and stomach x And she smiles as she probably finds it funny like most baby's find anything amusing x hehe x I love babies! x

Funny how a poop can be such a festive thing as well. Once my daughter weaned me from breast feeding @ 5 months her poops became less frequent are harder than the breastfed baby poo. So when she'd go it was an event!

lol. Its amazing how much poo can fit inside a 15 pound baby.
Sounds like she might be ready for the next sized diaper if she's always ending up with poo on her back and belly.

Ah, I remember the milky poos - wait 'til she's on solids! Meantime, get bigger nappies! Seriously - it makes life so much easier if you have less poo to clean up and fewer clothes to wash!!

Oh yeah! We are lucky- my son is 6 months old and for the first time this happened to me this weekend. We got him out of daycare and I was playing in the floor with him. I asked how he got mud all over his arm... yeah, it wasn't mud. lol. Ew.

just wait til you think she's finished pooping and go to change her and she carries on!! my son did that when he was a couple of weeks old you know how you lift their feel up to wipe, he carried on and it went everywhere up the walls and down the curtains and on the carpet!! i couldn't help but laugh though.
