Well, I guess the point is just to get in the holiday spirit. Some people think it's fun. And decorating is nice, it makes you feel more like you're at home. You can have friends round and make an evening out of it, if you wanted. . . . Anyhow, we're buying a tree tonight.

No, it is way too soon for the tree to go up. A day or two before Christmas will be soon enough. I don't understand how these people who put their's up at the beginning of December, don't get bored with them. They make most housework impossible as well.

I go between my Mum and Dad's. So we put Dad's up at the weekend. And the one at Mum's is going up this week.
It's a personal choise really. I like to put them up fairly early because of the christmas spirit etc etc. But some people only put them up just before christmas and take them down straight after. Whatever.

No, I don't do Christmas trees....
If anything I like the thought of stringing some lights on a palm tree!

I love it! You have your own personal Christmas Decorating Hit Squad!
My tree is going up tonight and I'm quite excited about it. Don't think my husband is bothered about it - he wouldn't put a tree up if he was left to his own devices.
Merry Christmas.

For a week it has been up now, and what a silly thing to say just because you live on your own??? Does that mean that just because you live on your own you should just have one chair one cup and saucer etc. Unless you have something against christmas trees of course.

Been repapering the lounge, and only just finished, as the decorator let us down and then did a runner, so will get the Christmas decorations up this week.

Not yet. I love the look and smell a real tree, but it can be too messy if you put it up too early!
