Do you think he can make a comeback when he is released in 12-23 months? Will any teams want him?

Michael Vick will serve at least 85% of the 23 months he was sentenced to and then the NFL will be forced to make its determination. Due to the public outcry for these crimes I would guess that Goodell will sentence Vick to an additional 2 years suspension for his conviction and admission to smoking weed so Vick would be eligible to come back in 2012. Vick will be 32 years old if he can return in Sept 2012 to the NFL and will have been out for 5 years time. Besides the public pressure against his return I don't think he will be able to return and I really don't think the NFL wants him back.

First of all i am totally against anyone causing harm to animals. Harm animals only if the animal is causing your life to be in danger. No I think that Vick will still play again. He'll come back and be an animal activist, and be a hero in the year 2013. What some people don't realize is that Michael Vick, was born and raised in a certain life style where dog fighting is a sport and is not looked down on. Also, some people in minority life's grow up watching their mom being beat by their dad, and they don't realize that's wrong. Coming from where Vick came from is a way of life. I myself have lived in a ghetto live style, although I don't like dog, chicken, and animal fighting is wrong, I've watched prostitution in my neighborhood, and pimping, to the point that many of these people in my neighborhood glorify these people. So my point is some people are victims of their geographic birth place..

The one thing that Michael Vick has going for him is that he is young (27 yrs). Assuming he serves the entire 23 month sentence, he will be able to make a comeback age-wise. His main weapon is his ability to run. He was never a really good QB from a passer perspective. It was always his running ability that enabled him to succeed in the passing arena. So, his career as a QB, in my opinion, was limited to another 4-6 years even if he didn't go to jail. Now that 2 years of that could be gone, he won't have a lot of good QB years left. The biggest variable is in your question......what teams, if any, will want him? His potential job openings are probably very limited...maybe 2-3 teams.... Dallas has a QB they are happy with but I would think the Raiders may be a possibility. He is definitely not going to be able to command the amount of money he is used to. He literally committed financial suicide with the dogfighting.

So, after all this babble, ......I think he'll make a comeback, but most people will hate and boo him and he won't be the threat that he was and he won't make the 100million contracts he was used to. Look for him to simply finish his career and make mediocre money (he'll still be super rich).

I really doubt the Vick will play in the NFL again. He wasn't taht great of a QB anyway. He was never going to take a team to the Super Bowl. In all actuality, there will be too many younger, better QBs out there when he gets out of jail.

For all practical purposes I'd say his NFL career is over. He might find a team willing to take a chance on him once he is out of prison but they would have to be pretty desperate for a QB.

Nobody will touch him........ Put yourself in a team owners place....would you want the distraction of having PETA protesting at every game, and not only PETA, I am just a basic animal lover but also enjoy eating them...... I would not go to my teams games if VIck were on the team. No one will touch him

I think it would be in Vick's best interest to quietly retire somewhere and live a low key life after he gets out of jail.

The demand for QBs is still big.I don't see the NFL letting this bad publicity magnet back in the NFL.

Do you see how in demand Qbs are right now?

Some team will pick him up down the road. Unless of course he chooses to retire.
