What do you think would have happened if the size of the english collonies continued to increase????????????????

The Empire would most likely have broken down faster.

Part of the American colonies' revolution was because the British gained control of all of Canada and drew lines where the Americans couldn't go because of it.

Also, historically, empires became weaker the larger they got. The more people you have, the more trouble-makers you will have to deal with. The British offset that usual urge by being fair and just, but that only works so long against larger populations.

Probably the same thing that did happen collapse. Brits may have been a little picky at times, but overall they really weren't horrible. I mean they did have that tax without representation thing, but that if you look at it was like the smallest tax raise in history.

The Brits were fair and just to the colonialists? American historians seems to disagree with that. Perhaps monarchies are inherently unfair and unjust.
