Police say the man was 31 years old, and that they are treating the incident as an accident. Authorities did not release any more details about the man.

Unfortunately, this is true. I hadn't heard it either but just do a Google search and you find many articles on the fall. Apparently he was trying to jump up on a wall near the concession area during 1/2 time and misplaced his jump. Sad story and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Did this really happen? It is awfully similar to an incident at a San Francisco 49ers game a few years ago.

I would think of something like this woudl have happened, there would be a news story on NFL.com or Yahoo News or something.

I have not heard about this until now. I wonder if alcohol was involved? Why was he sitting on a wall on the concourse level that I am sure was not intended to be sat on? Kinda tough to feel sorry for stupidity.

Thats too bad. You fall wrong from 20 feet up you can fracture your neck and skull, its too bad. Those concourses need to have taller walls behind them so that doesn't happen.

Very sad.You go a SF game to have fun and a policeman calls your loved ones to tell them you died.Honestly I hope it was an accident and not someone pushing him.Very tough.

I hadn't heard about this. Did it happen while the game was going on? Did the television broadcast pick up on it or say anything about it?

He must have fallen in an awkward way for 20 feet to have killed him. Provide a link to a story if you come across one.

imagne what he probably fell on (concrete)
and I can't imagine him landing on his feet

really, that's crappy....I'm sure he shouldn't have been sitting there, but I'm also sure he was just there to have a good time
