Me and my husband are going to use the name Rylin for a girl and yesterday someone said it sounds like Ritalin. My husband was very mad that they said that. Do you like this name?

I don't think it sounds at all like Ritalin. I think Rylin is cute, but I don't really care for the spelling. Also like Raylyn (not to sure about that spelling either). Good luck!

Rylin is certainly different. I don't mind it but at the end of the day it's entirely up to you.

It has no meaning to me where is it from ? Its the case that in America especially the make names out of the blue sometimes getting two names and making a hybrid , I like tradition. What about_ Alexandra Rose.

I love it. Ignore the one who said that about Ritalin they are jealous they didn't think of it first. I think it's original! Keep the name it rocks!

Name your baby what you like and don't think about what others say. I did that and I have a happy 13 year old who has an unusual name, Although it is getting more common now. Good luck!

It sounds alittle like rylan homes, But you have to think of the name in the long run, kids using it at school, applying for job, etc. I think that if your comfortable with the name then it right for you.

Sounds like a home builder to me. Why not name her Ryan? That can work as a girl's name, and at least everyone will be able to pronounce it.

I am all for "unusual" names... I think if you think it is a good name for your child then that is what it should be... Play around with the spelling, and see what would be the easiest to pronounce... Congratulations!
