I actually do enjoy them because I absolutely LOVE Christmas, and not just for the presents, either.

I go through the motions because I rarely have fun at those functions, then again I'd rather stay at home with my own family

no I dont enjoy parties in general. I never understood them.if you dont talk to anyone you seem odd. and if you spend too much time talking to one person you seem odd too.
the best parties are the ones with activities where you dont have to resort on conversation with the people you have already said all there is to say for the day

I like the ones with my family! Others, I just go because I have to...people are overly and falsely cheerful.
