Most people understand that the best way not to be killed by an Iraqi is to stay out of Iraq. Not everyone apparently, but most people.

A Republican is going to "secure the border"? HA! Not likely. What have they done the past 7 seven years?

A. I would hope that Americans see what these problems are and how to stop them. To do so requires a change in the administration and changes in officials we have elected that follow the current occupier of the WH and not what common sense tells us to do. A change in administration equals less war, less outsourcing less costly and more free trade and more Americans investing in American owned business where American people have more and better jobs available for American workers. When we vote in November 2008 we need to get beyond the mud-slinging and party politics and business as usual. If we don't, we will see that America isn't worth saving. Are you feeling patriotic enough to do the right thing?

People don't seem to pay attention to the actions, they seem to concentrate on the rhetoric. Therefore A number of people view Clinton as a bad President because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. People seem to view Republicans as tough on defense and border security because they talk the talk but if those same people would pay attention they would realize that the republicans don't walk the walk. Every President since Reagan has granted amnesty. That includes 3 republicans and 1 democrat.

There are a lot of people that believe in a lot of A and still think Islamofascists should be stopped. Sadly none of them are Democrats. It may take a nuclear bomb in the US detonated by an Islamofascists to get eveyone to agree with B first then have differing opinions on the various parts of A.

I hate answering a question with a question but this is an exception.
A) who "wants" war?
"less outsourcing"? we have a free market economy, how will the government control outsourcing?
"less free trade"? like it or not,the global economy is here to stay.Protectionist policies require high tariffs ,which in turn harm those with less spending power and also result in accelerated inflation.
"more investment in America"? from who? current tax and labor policies prohibit substantial domestic industrial growth.
B) Islamofascism must be controlled.

Sadly, it's probably A. We are too fat and happy to realize that if we don't take care of B, nothing else will really matter.

B would be my guess.
Most people understand that if you're dead, all the other issues don't matter. But as it becomes clear that we've won in Iraq, the war on terror becomes less important.
