my baby is 5 month old, my problem is that when i am out of the house they are feeding her my milk through bottle but she's just playing with the bottle. at first she will suck it but after a while she will start playing with it and when i get home that's the only time she concentrates feeding on my breast until she is full. what should i do for her to also feed in the bottle cause i'm gonnna work soon and i am afraid that she will not get enough milk.

You may have to try several different bottles and nipples before she is content with the bottle. There is absolutely no need to wean her off your breast if you are going to work. She can still breastfeed when you are home from work. I had one semester left of law school when I son was born, so I pumped and his sitter gave him that and I breastfed him when I was home.

chances are she will be fine and adapt to the bottle. Have you tried different nipple styles? Sone babies, especally those who have been exclusively bf, can be very picky about nipples! She may also respond better to a sippy cup, since it is a different texture and shape.

You are not the first mom to go through this, but it always works out, believe me!

Pump!!! to make the transition easier for both of you. Start pumping while you re there. Instead of breast feeding. Winn her off your breast slowly so it won't be so traumatic for you. The child will adjust regardless, it's you who will suffer.
