People bad mouth others because it makes them feel that they are better than that person. It is a sign of immaturity and insecurity.

Bad mouthing is bad manners. And I find intentional bad manners offensive.
Teasing can go either way (I come from a big family of merciless teasers as does my husband so we're used to a bit of "friendly" razzing).
But if I think someone's getting a little too sharp about my family or friends, I'll tell them to back off. It's just not nice!
"Making fun" of people is a whole other story, especially if the "funny" thing involves race, gender, sexual orientation, beliefs or a physical handicap. Then I get livid.

its is out of the ordinary for u though RoChEr, heehehe! we are as adults responsible for our words that come from our lips no doubt about it. . we should be careful of how we talk and what we say ,, making fun of others friends isnt ok.. a little humour in fun isnt going to hurt though it lightens the mood. if someone that is a friend is hurt by it then a apology is in order. . we all make mistakes just dont continue to do what offends someone for then your apoplogy is worthless and unmeaningful.. . thats my statement and i believe it to be worth while,, others can ,,. BELIEVE IT --- OR NOT!.. bro. murray

What you've just told us is an excuse jerks use to tell mean jokes; they think that by just saying: 'don't take me seriously' or 'I didn't think those comments were anti-semitic' that let's them off the hook. It's wrong and people need to learn to be a lot more sensitive to people, Period

he has the worlds worst self esteem and has to make others feel/look bad so that he can deal with his own inadequacies. when you call him on it-he scare him and he says it's no big deal.

I don't think....I react.
If someone bad mouths me, my family or my friends, they end up spitting out their teeth.

It's a respect thing. ;)

I don't let things like that bother me. If I don't like what people are saying... I leave. If that's hurts their feelings, so be it
