Well, I go to the University of Wyoming, in state tuition for the Pharmacy program is $238/ credit hour and out of state is $532/ credit hour. Also student fees are $176.35, and full time student also have to pay $190.75. The program requires two years of pre-requisites. The Program is four years long, you are considered a graduate student in your thrid year. The last year of school consists of a year of one-month rotations at different types of practice sites. Also after completion of the first year you must do two rotations during the summer, one in a comuunity setting, and one in a hospital. When you do rotaions you usually have to set up you our housing, and pay for it too. The school here in Wyoming is already accredited, and this school has one of the highest NAPLEX pass rates. NAPLEX is the test you must take after you graduate to be liscenced. Since there are a large amount of rotations, it forfills the state's requirement for practice hours to be liscensed, so you will not have to do any internships or log experience outside of the program if you wish. You can be liscenced as an intern in any state after completion of the first year. Most (75%) of the applicants to this program are out of state applicants, and the program choses 50% instate and 50% out of state for their class. Each class consists of 54 students. You complete an application (PharmCAS) with an essay, three letters of reference and by taking the PCAT. If you are one of the applicants they are considering, they invite you to be interveiwed. The interveiw day also gives you a tour of the campus, you must take a simple math test, and you also get fed lunch. These are usually done in March. The interveiw just mostly done to find what kind of problem solving skills you have. The PharmCAS is scored out of 100. Most people NEVER finish the math section. I am a second year student in the program right now. Here's the links to tuition and the pharmacy site!!! GOOD LUCK getting in. These programs are very competitive and expensive, so make sure this is what you want to do. Also if you get federal loans, the money they give you increases when you are given graduate status, but the tution does not change.

Loans is how you pay for it. The public schools do give preference for their own residents. At my public school, the cost is about $8500 tuition and fees per semester. Private schools are probably double that.
