Yes, and no. Maybe they should not watch WWE or TNA because of the scantily clad women, but some indies offer family style wrestling entertainment. However, I do admit, that wrestling should never have been aimed at kids in the first place, since the concept of wrestling is two or more men (or women) beating the **** out of each other.

If you're speaking about professional wrestling, no to a majority of it.

Professional wrestling is more geared to teenagers and adults, as there is cursing in the dialogue, violence in the moves, and implications of sex throughout a majority of the shows. No little kid should be allowed to watch it until they are mature enough to handle the presentation, as the presentation is not good for them. That is why a majority of the professional wrestling shows on TV are rated TV-14.

It depends. I have watched wrestling all my life. The only time I couldn't watch it when I was little, was when something nasty would be going one. But other then that I see no reason kids shouldn't be allowed to watch wrestling. As long as it doesn't influence their decisions. I am sure kids are watching much worse on t.v.

I think it depends on the age bracket. Wrestling has become a LOT more adult oriented over the years. When I was young, I watched Hulk, Sting and Flair clime to the top of the wrestling world, and they did it in a way that was confined to the ring, it didn't focus on ending careers or really hurting people. They fought to the bell and walked away victorious.

Now-adays they've got Orton booting people's heads off, female wrestlers stripping each other down to their under ware, and a sexually promiscuous CEO who has an illegitimate, midget child. Don't get me wrong. I'm a wrestling fan and I enjoy it, but if my kid was under 12, I prob. wouldn't let them watch.

No they shudnt be allowed coz kids have very sharp observation & they have no desicion power to make that wats good or wats bad so they adopt everything they see & listen but they dont know either its good to follow it or not so if they watch wrestling or other fighting stuff they will definately pick it up & will wrestle with their mates that can be harmful

It's up to the parents to decide what there kids watch.

i have heard these stories from all over the place, where kids get seerely injured, or even killed imitating moves they see on proffessional wrestling. that type of stuff will always happen, but its up to the parents to control what thier kids watch, blaming the preoblem on the wrestling itself is like me blaming my fork for making me fat.

people just like to look for excuses to ban things they dont like, and they think that because ythey have a problem with, no one else should be able to watch it. its just a load of BS in my opinion.

yes!
I've watched from a little kid until now and it hasn't affected me any. as a matter of fact, everyone in my family was brought up watching wrestling. Heck, even my granny watched it back in the GloryDays...so yes, they should be allowed to watch it.

I started watching at 13. Maybe they should, too. They aren't able to grasp the fact that it's fake yet; plus, it's partially THEIR fault as viewers that wrestling has become a lot more stale over the years.

I'm an indy wrestling promoter in Illinois and I don't even let my two children watch wrestling.
