You have proof of that?
I suggest you open your circle of Republicans.
It wasn't Republicans who called Rice a house slave.
It was the Republicans who keep putting minorites in positions of power while the Democrats talk about it.
The reason why the South shift to the GOP because they didn't like the DNC telling them that abortion is OK, that it is OK to smear people of faith, etc.
It was the DNC who shifted so far left that Lieberman is now a conservative to them.

No Republican supports slavery! The Republican party was founded to stop the spread of slavery.
Illegal immigrants are our modern day slaves.

Funny, Republicans don't care about skin color, we tend to focus on the person. Democrats and Liberals though, have a tendancy to focus on such things to keep people seperate because of skin color.
Now then, who's a "little racist at heart?"

Interesting because most of the racists I know are democrats. Most of the racists policies are promoted by democrats as well- You know, all those policies that start from the belief that minorities couldnt possibly make it on their own and the fact that any minority who does achieve on their own and has the nerve to tell their communities that they too can achieve on their own are called uncle toms and sellouts and so forth. Seems pretty racist to me.
I believe we are all of one race= the human race.

Define 'racism'. Now me, I define racism as believing that a person of a race other than my own is unequal to me. In other words, not as smart, not as capable, weaker, that sort of thing. Now, if you ask me, this describes the attitude of liberals far more than it does conservatives. You see, as a conservative, we believe that those of other races are every bit as intelligent, strong, capable and responsible as we are. We don't believe that they need us to help them, to act as their parent or as their 'big white brother'.
So, tell me, which attitude do you believe if more racist? The attitude that sees someone as an equal or the one that does not?
Seems pretty clear to me. So, in answer to your question. No. And, no disrespect, but it displays a significant degree of ignorance on your part to believe so.

Whatever. If it wasn't for Abraham Lincoln freeing the slaves, they would still be slaves so that is a moot point. The same could be said about Democrats being racist.
PS. Abe was a Republican.

Sorry; I don't believe you have a credible source that states ANY high ranking Republican believes in slavery. I think your opinion is not valid here.
