No, foxes are superb tic-tac-toe players very few amongst men can equall their prowess, I myself have lost several games in the foolishness of my pride

You should consider yourself lucky. Consider the alternatives:
1. You beat the fox and he/she doesn't want to be your friend anymore. Terrible.
2. It ends in a "cat's game" and drives the fox bonkers! Scary.
