The serving arm of many tennis players is often significantly larger (thicker) than the other arm. Explain this phenomenon.

Why are you surprised? Muscles that are used and exercised grow strong and large. If you find a carpenter who hammers all day with his right arm, his right arm will be stronger than his left.

I'm guessing this happens because the serving arm is used more so the muscles develop at a faster rate than the other arm.

It must be something to do with the amount of time you spend serving the ball!the muscle is larger and therefore thicker in size?i think it must have something to do with that anyway!
