I completely agree. A multitude of reasons: rebellion, unhappiness, conformity, curiosity, addiction....

Not everyone who does drugs is stupid, and yeah, I grew up with all those warnings about how drugs are bad, but despite that people are still trying to feel better about themselves. Some people start with something as innocent as a one drink and then turn into full blown alcoholics, while others don't some people can have a hard day and have one drink while others can't.
Same thing with other drugs, maybe they tried some pot and then before they know it, it gets out of hand. I think most people who do drugs, don't think that it is ever going to get out of hand. Some people can have all the control in the world and maybe do it once, and then not do it at all, or only do it while they are young and then one day up and quit, but for many, after that first introduction to some weed, they move on to crack and acid and other things. It depends on that person some people have addictive personalities and should stay away from vices, but they can't. A lot of people look to drugs as a way out, so they can feel better. I don't think these people are stupid, I think they are troubled.

Addiction mostly.
But before, the peer pressure crap, curiousity, refusing to believe that something that small can cause so much pain, stupity. All the reassons I can think of.
Oh and not having good parents who notice what u are doing or sweeping it all under the rug refusing to believe there kids aren't perfectly happy freaking muchkins. Short last answer bad parenting or no parents around.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
At least if you don't become reliant on it like i did.
But seriously, drugs are bad for people who think that they're happy and should only be given to people with psychological problems.

What a condescending question.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised since you took a question about pregnancy and used it as a soap box re: abortion.
When you adopt a handful of teenagers who are in state's custody and whom no one wants, you get back to us with your high and mighty position.
Until then, try actually helping a problem instead of whining about it. Get your hands dirty a bit.

why you don't go drugs ?
Same question. People make their own decisions. Don't be so certain your position is correct. I don't mean any offense and am not encouraging drug use....just saying don't judge others,on them.oh yeah it's good you think they're stupid, stay away from them, and from people who do them

well, I experimented with the whole spectrum in my younger days, but I also came to learn much about them and those that're addicted, so for me, it was a positive experience in the sense that I learned from those experiences....

Experimentation, and the desire to get away from reality are two of the biggest reasons.
