This is *really* embarrassing to actually put online, but I'm desperate. For the past few days, I've been having spasms "down there". It's not in or around my vagina, it's that blank space right behind it but before my bum.
I'll feel really quick muscle spasms for about 5 seconds and then it goes away, but this happens at least three times in the span of one minute. If I engage in a Kegel, it won't happen, but who wants to do that all daggone day? lol. It's not painful, just incredibly annoying.
Just a bit of background: I'm not pregnant, I've never had children, I've had my period for the month and it was normal. I have a gyno appointment scheduled for next week already.
It could just be stress-related and go away on its own (after all, it is the Holiday season)....but I was just wondering if any of you had experienced this and what you did to make it stop.
Thank you!
:-D

Never heard of it--but I've had other muscles in other parts of my body spasm for days on end, then stop and not bother me again. I can think of several treatments:
1) maybe your potassium is low--that can result in spasms. Eat some bananas.
2) Take some Motrin--it's a muscle relaxant.
These measures might make it go away. And if they don't, then at least you will have ruled out a few things.

Ive had this before and if thers no pain then you should be fine but...go tell your doc anyway. I usually get them when I'm on my period sometimes...
