I let it ring at least twice. This way the caller id can identify who it is.

If I want to pick up I usually let it ring 2 times, if not I just let my answering machine take care of it :)

I wait for two rings before I answer (for the CID) and I just wait like 5 rings before I hang up.

I usually try to answer my home and cell by the third ring, four rings sends them to voice mail on both.

It only rings once with my ring tone, But I guess i let it ring long enough to see who it is and if they are important enough to me for me to answer it

i usually let it ring like 3 times and than i say hello 2 times and if no one answers i yell **** YOU and hang up. One time it ended up being my grandma though :(
