PLEASE call the police right away.
My husband has a temper and I've been told to to call 911 by my family, friends, and now divorce attorney and local law enforcement. Personally I still have not called the police when things are happening here, even though I know it would help speed up the divorce process. Several reasons stop me from calling (fear of him, embarrassment and still kind in my heart not wanting to hurt his reputation in society :( .. ). For my situation if people would call, decision would be a lot easier and possibly situation would settle down quicker. In addition, the person outraged wouldn't be so careless and out of control. Yesterday husband yelled and belittled me for almost 4 hours straight and I continued to focus on other things to not loss my control. I should have called the police, and didn't.
Even if you hear constant yelling with out the crashing you should call. You may be preventing a serious situation from occurring.

Call you local child services department and make a anonymous call. They will never tell the people you called. You need to protect the kids. If you can't find the number call your police stations routine number they will give you the correct people to contact. the family will be investigated. YOU WILL BE DOING THE RIGHT THING!

You can do this two ways, go up there and tell them to stop or call the police. Since you are three girls living there call the police.

Just call the cops with a complaint about noise and tell them that you think it is possibly a domestic issue. They will investigate.

Call the police! Your neighbors won't know you called, and it sounds like your neighbors can't defuse the situation by themselves in a safe manner. You may be helping them out.

Well... you definintely do NOT go up there. You need to do two things:
Phone the cops and tell them what is transpiring and get in touch with the landlord of your building and tell them what is going on. Best of luck to you...
