I'm going to be going to the Bahama's in January and had a questions. My girlfriend like me to wear bikini style speedos and thongs style swimwear. When we go to the bahamas she would like me to wear that on the beach, She wears similar styles as well. Is It appropreate to wear at the beach resorts there in the Bahama's? P.S. I'm in very good shape, excercise regualary and take really good care of my body I'm 30. Thanks gor the help.

Yes, I always wear a g-string on the beach, so why not a man if he is in shape. The only thing, I was in the Bahama's last Fenruary and it was still kinda cold for the beach.

It depends on your body. If you are petite and have a slim feminine body, the a womens bikini bottom may look fine. There are many different styles of bikini bottoms. I prefer to wear a swim skort for at public beaches as it has a skirt attached to a bikini and is great for hiding the baby-maker buldge. It is much more comfortable to wear on a hot day than any of the uncomfortable long leg mens trunks. Just make sure the one you choose covers you decent and you will not have any problems. It is a great conversation starter from the chicks as most of them seem to like it. Besides my legs look better tanned to the bikini than stopping at the knee. The more guys that try it, the more it will be accepted.

Wear whatever you're comfortable in. Speedos can be very sexy so long as you have the body for it. Take regular swimwear too. That way, you're covered if it's not "appropriate" in the Bahamas. I think it would be fine though.

If you've got the body to carry them off then sure go for it you'll no doubt look hot
if your too self conscious about wearing them in public wear a pair of Bermuda shorts on top and remove them when you feel brave enough to wear just the speedos

Well the fact that you are asking the question probably means that you don't feel comfortable wearing 6 inches of fabric corering up your 'noids'. I wouldn't feel comfortable personally. Get a flattering square cut spandex suit. There's a lot between surf shorts and a g-string. You can still be sexy and not have to be so naked.

Even if you're in terrific shape, a speedo or man thong is just about the gayest thing you could possibly wear. Go for it if you're into unwelcome man-advances.

Sure why not? Its the beach, everyone will be dressed like that. As long as you feel comfortable doing it, then you will be fine! (Plus you will be making your girlfriend happy too) Have fun at the beach!!!!

It's totally exceptable.. and the fact that you are in shape is even better! (Normally there are some big bear bellies walking around in them..) hehe.

If you have a six-pack and a butt that women drool over, then go for it. However, if you look like the canadian guys who wear them at the beach where I live, then please, keep it at home!
