dont unhook your battery like the other guy said,it can mess up your alternator, and the spark from connecting and disconnecting it could make your battery explode like a grenade.what a dumb a$$.the voltage regulater biult into your alternator is not doing oits job.have it tested.you will probably need another one.

If your car is running at too slow an rpm when started, the alternator won't start charging until you rev the engine up a bit. Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. If the battery is more than 3 years old having it tested would be a good idea.

That sounds like a starter motor to me. If the battery is good have your starter motor checked. Is the starter motor close to the road on your car? Don't confuse the alternator with the starter motor. In the summer electronic stuff often gets cooked when the manufacturer puts stuff to close to the hot road. In the rainy weather it can get hit with water and in winter road salt. I want to think you have a starter motor problem.

well you can diagnose the problem by 1 of 2 ways. go to autozone and tell them to check your battery and alternator. or check if your alternator is bad by removing the positive terminal when your vehicle is on.

Check to see if you alternator belt is loose(it's usually the horizontal one)
Or the alternator might not be working
