I agree with him. I'm trying to fix myself... the housework is done right now. My husband has been getting on my butt about housework and the internet. I got defensive at first, then realized he was right. I deleted myspace and some other acounts. I tackle Y!A early in the morning, so I can do housework the rest of the day. There's no WAY I could afford a housekeeper. And, as long as I'm home, theres no logical reason why I can't do it

Another housekeeper? You don't mean you have one now, and you need a second one? do you?
Yeah, get a housekeeper. Why not? Once a week they'll come in and take care of stuff. $50-100.
Or get a new husband. $50-100 also

Tell him that you are going to hire someone to do it or its not going to get done unless he wants to do it. I work alot and when I am home the LAST thing I want to worry about is cleaning the house. I'd rather pay someone else to do it then spend all my free time cleaning.

Well If you are working as well as your husband then you can pay the second housekeeper from your wages and your husband shouldn't say anything with that.

Since you work divide your income by what your share of the bills would be if you were just roommates. See what you have left over and you pay for the maid if that is what you really want.

Let the house go...you work, too! The other housekeeper needs to be him if he doesn't want to contribute to one.
