then it doesn't matter. But with Bush de-valuing the dollar because of his bullsht war, then buying them now would be extremely prudent. Suppose you can buy 10 Euros right now for 14 dollars. Next year it's going to cost you 28 dollars to get those 10 Euros, because Bush will continue to destroy our economy. Remember fuzzy math? How HE had a vision? He's a scumbag.

No you can change your U.S dollar in Denmark at Forex or Western Union and many more money changer.
Denmark used Danish kroner or DKK
Euro is not applicable or usable in Denmark but Danish Kroner alone.
Yes Euro is higher value than kroner but,you cannot used it in Denmark unless you changed it to Kroner.
Or another alternatives you can withdraw money from the net bank or anywhere if you have a visa card, master card or any other credit cards. But still a big charge or interests if u do that.
Still best to have cash on hand.(Just be very careful to avoid the theft)

Denmark uses the Kroner, but its pegged to the Euro +/- 2%. So it doesn't really matter. If the Euro goes up, the Kroner will too.
But if you only want to buy things in Denmark - the Kroner is the only currency you can use.

You'll need to buy Danish kroner to pay for stuff in cash in Denmark. The only exceptions are in the airport and at a very few very touristed hotels, shops, and restaurants, but they use something called "dynamic currency conversion" which means you get killed in their exchange rate every time.
The cheapest and easiest way is to withdraw cash from an ATM/minibank/cash machine when you arrive. You get the best conversion rate, plus lowest fees. Otherwise, you can convert your paper currency at Forex windows in airport and central station for 30 DKK service fee, and a conversion rate not quite as good as from an ATM machine.
The US dollar has weakened due to trade deficit, not Bush. It has, in my opinion as someone dealing in both currencies daily, pretty much gone about as low as it will against the Danish krone, and I would expect in a year it will not be any worse, but more likely better. If you're anxious, then put your dollars into a 1 year bank CD to earn 5 or 6% as a hedge, then purchase kroner when you arrive.

I know this probably won't be very helpful...but it looks like the krone is still the official currency of Denmark. I copied and pasted this from wikipedia:
"Denmark's national currency, the krone (plural: kroner), is de facto linked to the Euro through ERMII.[28] The exchange rate is very steady at approx. 7.45 kroner per euro. Currently the krone converts to American dollars at a rate of about USD 0.20 per krone (about 5.1 kroner per dollar). (Exchange rates updated November 2007)"
I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, and I'm hoping that someone else can answer and be more helpful.
EDIT: Looks like someone two answers below me answered your question - I'm glad! I went ahead and tried to find out because no one else had answered the question when I read it, but it looks like someone knows from experience. Good luck on your trip!

We don't use Euros in Denmark, so Kroner is the best choice. The best choice is to bring a Mastercard or a Visa card, then you can withdraw money from the ATM's as you need them to, and many places will accept them as a method of payment.

Yeah, the Danes opted out of the Euro, they still use kroner. Buy either currency now, you'll be better off.
