Who knows maybe all the other people in the world that we know have died for sure need the attention. Personally I am sick of looking at his face anyway!

They are out chasing ambulances, of course. Have you noticed that most "TV journalists" are lawyers? They bark and chase emergency vehicles until they get tired.
