Absolutely and it isnt global warming it is the manmade theory that is in question. His actions and the actions of other hotshots lead any logical person to believe that it is all about one world government and wealth redistribution, not the environment at all.\
PS: I agree with limiting emissions and working on things like water pollution and such but I do not believe these people really care about that as much as control and money- they have successfully turned the global warming hysteria into a $40 billion industry that is making a lot of their associates filthy rich
Double PS: The antartic ice is getting thicker for one, and as importantly, everywhere that is melting on the globe they find ancient forests and other things that prove conclusively that at one time it wasnt cold there. We need to stop allowing people to manipulate us in their quest for power.

No. Give me a break.
Global warming is a scientific issue. Gore has nothing to do with it except he made the information accessible to the public. The UN has nothing to do with it except they organized the scientists together (into the IPCC) to allow them to write a big summary report.
Scientists have been studying global warming for over 100 years. The only conspiracy is in the heads of those who don't understand the science. They should have a big convention with the people who think the moon landing was staged and that there are aliens at Area 51.

Global warming is a fact. There is ample evidence to show the average temperature around the globe is rising and that we are experiencing dramatic climate changes. However, I do not believe it has been proved these changes are the result of human activity rather than part of a natural cycle or influenced by conditions out side of our atmosphere - such as increased production from the sun.
Now, many of the things that Al Gore is advocating are responsible choices even if they won't have any measurable impact on global warming.

Their first mistake was confusing the UN with the European Union (or improbably World Union). The UN isn't going to govern the world. That's just dumb. It's set up as a democracy (even though it doesn't always work).
Secondly, global warming is real. It is true that the Earth has a warming cycle so every 100 year or so it is hotter than normal. But it is also fact that it has been hotter recently than the last 400 years. You can't deny global warming, reguardless how bad the problem is right now. Like him or hate him, Gore isn't trying to take over the world. He is just trying to inform it about something he is passionate about. Don't be so gullible.

Either way, if global warming is natural or man made there's little argument to say it's not happening. With extreme weather fronts destroying cities and coast lines I really don't think we should be arguing who to point the finger at any more. The situation is steadily getting worse and we can all sit here and try to place blame, either way our carbon emissions are at the highest in the planet's history, that much we know. We also know that Gore actually didn't dream these figures up himself, they are statistics based on several researchers and scientists from around the globe and some 30 years or research. What sort of world do you wish to pass on to your children?

Sure, it ranks right up there with Gore taking over the world using only baked potatoes.
Will someone please tell me what kind of "power" anyone is going to get from rising sea levels?
And how the theory of a world government will stop it?
The fact is that yes, world temps go up and down naturally, but never this quickly. And the only thing in the last 150 years to radically change the world has been the industrial revolution. Man-made.
A $40 billion a year industry is small potatoes compared with the hundreds of billions we spend on energy. Non-renewable energy at that.

Hey. Nice question, by the way.
Global warming is a very serious issue in our world today. If you have been noticing what has been going on in the world, it has been getting hotter and hotter every day. I mean, it didn't snow for me until April of this year.

a couple years ago, this was all ice. now look what it turned into.
Global warming is when the O-zone lyer is being destroyed, allowing the sun's rays to enter our earth.
If people don't help eventually, our world will litteraly catch on fire from being on fire. It's depressing.
Hope this helps and happy holidays,
Alycia

No. Al Gore is totally incapable of dreaming this up. There are some, I have no doubt, who see it as a tool to influence the economies of certain nations or to advance their own agendas (anti-capitalism, anti-west, pro-environment). As with most large, heavy and complex tools, if used improperly, pose a serious threat to the users themselves.

Yes. Go to www.rangemagazine.com and check out some of the articles they have on it. Al Gore is a cleverly self-promoting sensationalist that feeds on the sheepish masses...like Chicken Little. Sorry, the sky is not falling.
Also, go to www.globalwarmingglobalgovernance.com.
It has been proven that even while the Arctic ice is shrinking, Antarctic ice is increasing all the time. Talk about an inconvenient truth.

Global warming is a serious problem, just as serious as Global cooling seemed to be 30 years ago, it is a hoax, nothing there but a cyclical event, but we do have to be good to the environment to keep other animal species alive, we are decimating there homelands, that needs to stop, as for GLobal Warming, no deal.
