Why not...they are as good human being as others. Sorry, no child is illegitimate..it's mother or father who had this sort of illegitimate relationship and an innocent child is abused by the people who hardly understand social ethics.
They must enjoy all the rights and duties of a normal citizen.

In the United States any citizen can vote when they turn 18. Legitimacy is not an issue in this country. I imagine it is the same in most other countries.

If you are a citizen of the United States, regardless of the circumstances of your conception (and barring restrictions on convicted felons, etc) you are entitled to vote when you turn 18 years old. Go to the library or post office and pick up a voter registration form, fill it out, then go and cast your ballot on election day.

Whether your parents were married, or even if you know who they are, has no bearing on citizenship. As long as you are a citizen, you are allowed to vote at the age of 18 (Unless you're a felon in some states).

Illegitimacy only refers to legal matters having to do with divorce, child support and inheritance. It does not apply to basic civil rights. In some states illegitimate children do not have the same inheritance rights and/or different child support regulations apply to them. Most of this is changing and most of those laws/regulations are not utilized or implemented.
